📘 How to Play Jigsaw Puzzle

In the Jigsaw Puzzle game, you create a 3x3 image by matching scattered pieces with the empty slots on the board. Drag each piece to its correct spot; if it doesn't fit or goes to the wrong place, click it to return it to the pool.

1. Look at the scattered pieces and the empty boxes to decide which piece belongs where.
2. Hold (click) the right piece and drag it into the empty box you think is correct.
3. If a piece ends up in the wrong spot, click on that piece to send it back to the pool.
4. Place all 9 pieces in order (left-to-right, top-to-bottom) to complete the puzzle.

👶 What to expect at ages 4-10

Children aged 4-10 develop spatial awareness by visually tracking shape and color matches. They may struggle initially with finding the first few pieces, but the ability to 'undo' mistakes encourages persistence.

🏠 At home and in class

Ask guiding questions like "Which box corner does this piece look like?" when they get stuck. Once the edges are set, verify the visual alignment together by saying, "Great, the corners fit perfectly!"

• Finding edge and corner pieces first helps build the frame of the puzzle quickly.
• A correct piece stays fixed in place; if it moves or bounces back, it belongs elsewhere.
