📘 How to Play Shape Sorter

In Shape Sorter, you gather scattered pieces and fit them into their correct spots below. Drag the shapes down to the empty slots; if you place one correctly, your score increases and a celebration message appears.

1. Pick up a shape from the randomly distributed pile at the top of the screen using your mouse or finger.
2. Hold the shape and drag it down towards the designated empty slots.
3. Release the shape only when it perfectly covers the target; if placed incorrectly, it will bounce back.

👶 What to expect at ages 3-7

Children aged 3-7 should use their fine motor skills to visually distinguish which slot belongs to which shape. The bouncing feedback from incorrect placements will encourage them to try again and refine their hand-eye coordination.

🏠 At home and in class

While switching between different themes (Stars, Colored Shapes), observe together which theme the child handles more successfully. Support consolidation by giving concrete clues like 'larger' or 'pointy' when correcting a misplaced piece.
