📘 How to Play Dominoes

Play a tile matching an open end and empty your hand first. The computer draws when it cannot play.

🧠 What it builds

Short, regular sessions (10-15 minutes a day) work better than one long sitting.

📱 Where it runs

Works in the browser on phone, tablet and desktop — no install, no sign-up. Turn the phone sideways and the layout rearranges itself, keeping every control finger-sized.

🎯 Who it is for

Designed for ages 5-12.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why does it say the tile does not fit?

One of the tile's two numbers must equal the number at the left or right end of the chain. If the ends are 3 and 6, you can play 3-1 or 6-6 but not 2-5.

Are doubles special?

In this version doubles (like 6-6) play as normal tiles; there is no four-way branching — the game is kept simple for children.

Does the computer draw from the boneyard?

Yes, just like you when it has no matching tile. It never sees your hand; it only looks at the open ends.

Can I restart a round?

Yes, the 🔄 Restart button deals the tiles again. Rounds won are shown at the top.

How many rounds are played?

A new round starts after each one; points collect in the site bar. Play as many rounds as you like.
