📘 How to Play Build a Car?

Build a Car is a free, goalless car-building game. In an empty garage scene, you drag a piece from the shelf below onto the car area. Each part type has its own fixed slot; wherever you drop it, the piece always snaps into the correct spot for that type, so the result never looks messy.

1. The shelf below holds body, color, wheel, roof accessory and sticker categories in turn.
2. Drag the piece you picked onto the car area; it snaps into its part type's fixed slot with a "click" sound.
3. Once a body and wheels are attached, a "Drive!" button appears; your car drives back and forth around the garage, wheels spinning and dust kicking up.
4. 'New Car' clears the scene so you can build a different car from scratch.

🚗 9 body shapes, real-time color

Nine different body shapes are drawn with real pixel-art sprites; color options are painted onto the same body sprite in real time, so every combination looks different.

🏁 Why is "Drive!" a reward?

A car cannot be driven until it is built — this naturally encourages attaching at least a body and wheels, but it is never a requirement or scored; you can add or remove any piece at any time.

👶 What to expect at age 4-9

For the youngest players, the skill is simple: drag a piece, something gets added to the car. Older kids learn to design a car of their own using color, roof accessory and sticker combinations.

🏠 Use at home

• With no goal or score, a child can try as many combinations as they like and just explore.
• An adult can guide exploration by asking "which body should we try with this color?"
• The "Drive!" animation is more fun with sound on, but works fully with sound off too.
