📘 How to Play Color Hunt

A color name appears at the top of the screen, and your goal is to find the matching colored box below. Click carefully; if you pick the right one, it grows and gives you points. Reach 50 points to complete the Color Hunt.

1. Read the color name displayed at the top (e.g., 'blue').
2. Scan the nine colored boxes below to find the matching color.
3. Click the correct box; it will grow if you are right and earn points.
4. If you click wrong, the box shakes red; try again.

👶 What to expect at ages 3-7

Younger children (3-4 years) might hesitate when matching the text to the color swatches. Older kids (5-7 years) should be able to quickly isolate the correct color from the shuffled grid.

🏠 At home and in class

Explain why the box shook by saying, 'It turned reddish because that wasn't the color we needed.' Point to objects in your room and ask your child to find items matching the colors they just identified in the game.

• Colors shuffle every turn, so focus strictly on the text name rather than memorizing box positions.
• Use the red shake animation as a clear signal to pause and re-evaluate your choice.
