Move the discs to the right rod; a bigger disc never sits on a smaller one. Play with 3, 4 or 5.
🧠 What it builds
Short, regular sessions (10-15 minutes a day) work better than one long sitting.
📱 Where it runs
Works in the browser on phone, tablet and desktop — no install, no sign-up. Turn the phone sideways and the layout rearranges itself, keeping every control finger-sized.
🎯 Who it is for
Designed for ages 6-12.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum number of moves?
With n discs it is 2ⁿ−1: 7 for 3 discs, 15 for 4, 31 for 5. Finishing in exactly that many shows "Perfect".
Is there a strategy?
Move the smallest disc in the same direction every other move (to the right with 3 discs), and in between make the only other legal move. This rule always gives the shortest solution.
Can I choose the number of discs?
Yes, with the 3/4/5 disc buttons at the top. Without choosing, one disc is added after every tower.
What happens on an illegal move?
Placing a big disc on a small one is impossible; the selection is cancelled. Extra moves only raise the counter.
What does it teach?
Recursion: moving a big tower means moving a smaller tower twice. A classic of computer science.
