Move all 52 cards to the four foundations in the top right, from Ace up to King, one suit per pile. In the seven columns below, cards go down in rank and alternate colour (red on black, black on red). Only a King may go into an empty column. Draw one card at a time from the stock in the top left; when it runs out, the waste pile turns over again. Tap a card and then tap its destination; tapping the same card twice sends it to a foundation if it fits.
🧠 What it builds
This game targets ordering, patience and planning. Short, regular sessions (10-15 minutes a day) work better than one long sitting.
📱 Where it runs
Works in the browser on phone, tablet and desktop — no install, no sign-up. Turn the phone sideways and the layout rearranges itself, keeping every control finger-sized.
🎯 Who it is for
Designed for ages 7-12. Younger children can play with an adult, older ones on their own.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Can I drag the cards?
This version uses tapping: first the card, then the destination. Dragging on small screens often drops cards in the wrong place, so tap-to-move was chosen. To move a run, tap its top (highest) card.
Draw one or draw three?
One card at a time, and the stock can be turned over as often as you like. It is the easiest Klondike setting, chosen so children can actually finish games.
Is every deal solvable?
No — in Klondike some deals cannot be won, just like with real cards. If you get stuck, take a new deal with 🔄 New game. Undo goes back up to 60 moves.
When does "Auto-finish" appear?
When the stock and waste are empty and every card is face up. It moves the remaining cards to the foundations by itself, because nothing is left to think about.
How is the score calculated?
Every card placed on a foundation gives 5 points and finishing gives 50. The move count is shown separately — finishing in fewer moves is the real skill.
