📘 How to Play Butterfly Garden?

Butterfly Garden follows the Calm Games philosophy — no score, timer, losing, or limit. You tap the garden to plant a flower there; once enough flowers have grown, butterflies glide in to be watched, land for a moment, and fly off.

1. Tap anywhere in the empty garden; a flower gets planted there.
2. Your flower sprouts and opens with a brief growth animation.
3. Once the flower count passes a threshold, butterflies occasionally glide in and circle over a flower before landing.
4. The butterfly flies off again after a few seconds — it is not meant to be caught or scored, just a pleasant visual treat.

🌸 Fully drawn, not a stock sprite

Both the flowers and butterflies are vector shapes drawn in code — with gradient fill, soft shadow and highlight, using the same careful technique as the glass tubes in the water-sort game.

🧘 Why is there no "catching"?

Butterflies are deliberately not a scored goal; they are simply a natural reward showing the garden has grown enough. The player never has to "win" anything, just watch their garden come alive.

👶 What to expect at age 3-8

For the youngest players, the skill is simple: tap, and a flower grows. Older kids learn to fill the garden and observe which flower a butterfly will land on.

🏠 Use at home

• With no pressure element at all, it also works as a calming bedtime activity.
• An adult can support observation by asking "which flower do you think the butterfly will land on?"
• The "Clear" button resets the garden with no penalty, so every session can start fresh.
